Inna Leoni’s long affinity for the flute and performance experiences allow her to bring affectionate insight to the instruction of this instrument. Ms. Inna tailors her teaching to align with the student’s skill level and goals.
Beginning students (age 5 and over) are always welcome. Ms. Inna also enjoys working with the more advanced player who is looking for guidance in preparing for regional auditions such as the South Jersey Band and Orchestra (SJBODA) and the All Shore ensembles (ASDA) in Monmouth and Ocean Counties (NJ). Ms. Inna selects from a variety of methods including Trevor Wye’s widely acclaimed Practice Books for the flute.
Ms. Inna displays professionalism and intense dedication for the players who are preparing for college auditions, classical training programs, and competitions. Her guidance and instructional expertise has been witnessed at the Aspen Festival and the Tangelwood Institute. Throughout her musical journey, she has successfully prepared numerous students who have earned acceptance to accredited university programs such as Carnegie Mellon University's, Montclair State University's and Rowan University's School of Music.

While there are a variety of methods of teaching and learning piano, Inna uses The Music Development Program of the Royal Conservatory as it systematically provides students a way to objectively measure and understand their progress and achievements. It also provides a wonderful flexibility fostering innovation and creativity for teaching and learning along with achievable standards that support personal excellence.
The Music Development Program (MDP) encompasses four main areas:

The MDP provides this as well as the opportunity to earn meaningful recognition of an individual's progress.

Inna offers piano, flute, and music theory lessons for individuals of all ages and all levels. Located in Manahawkin NJ, Inna can accomodate lessons during the day for the home schooler, in the afternoon or early evening for those taking classes or working during the regular school or work day.

An internationally acclaimed flutist Inna Leoni has performed in concert in halls such as the Bolshoi Hall in Moscow to Carnegie Hall in New York City. Ms. Inna received her early training in Russia and was awarded with highest honors for her Master of Music from the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory. She continued her professional studies with Loren Lind of The Philadelphia Orchestra and took post graduate study at the New England Conservatory in Boston with Paula Robison.
As a pianist, Ms. Inna performed extensively as a collaborative pianist at Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, Gnesin Academy of Music, Gershwin College of Music, the University of Alabama, Georgian Court University, and the Garden State Philharmonic and Atlantic City Ballet Company.
